| I am asked quite frequent where we get great quality produce for all of our birds. Spring, Summer, and Fall are my favorite times of the year simply because Benders Farm is open. Not only do we go nuts over all the wonderful produce, flowers, CORN (if you've ever been to Benders, and you have purchased their corn you know what I'm talkin' about!) veggie plants, pumpkins, gourds (which a lot of my finches LOVE to nest in) the list goes on and on. Very reasonable prices, great produce, and always friendly. "Goin' out to Benders" has been something my family has done since before I was born. It's now a place that we share with our children. |
